Flexyfoot

Putting the spring back in your step!

FLEXYFOOT are flexible and elastic ferrules that replace the existing rigid rubber pads, usually unstable and slippery. They were created and patented by a British engineer David Goodwin, as some of his friends struggled with multiple sclerosis.

FLEXYFOOT provides users with a stable support on the ground regardless of its type, as well as cushioning during each contact of the walking sticks or crutches with the ground. This ensures safety, it increases the sense of confidence and comfort while moving with walking sticks or crutches.

Who is it for?

FLEXYFOOT products are intended for people who temporarily or permanently move with the help of walking sticks, crutches, or walkers: patients after orthopaedic operations, patients with rheumatoid arthritis, patients after strokes and with neurological diseases that disturb gait such as MS, the elderly and people requiring a walking aid. They also perfectly increase safety when using stools inserted into bathtubs or shower cabins.

What size Flexyfoot is right for me?

Different sizes of FLEXYFOOT ferrules, ease of their selection and replacement give the possibility of their versatile use. The simplicity of the product makes it affordable also for the elderly or not fully independent.

Flexible ‘foot’ and ferrules

FLEXYFOOT ferrule are made in four sizes:

16

19

22

25

…which denote the diameter of selected walking sticks / crutches / tripods / walkers.

They are made in two colours: black and grey and in two versions: basic and extra (strengthened, for people with high body weight or using ferrule in difficult terrain conditions).

For movement in winter conditions, an Ice boot was created with spikes and an additional cover on it before entering into the room to protect the ground from scratches.

It is possible to replace the elastic ferrule itself in the ‘foot’ in a situation where its rubber has already worn off beyond the safety range specified by the manufacturer.

Crutches and walking sticks

FLEXYFOOT walking sticks are a group of the most popular orthopaedic aids integrated with ferrule. Their innovative and elegant line, as well as exceptional functionality (folding and telescopic) definitely distinguishes them from the other products available on the market.

FLEXYFOOT crutches are high-quality orthopaedic aids integrated with ferrule and characterized by high resistance to loads. Their quality is evidenced, i.e., by the fact that the American manufacturer of exoskeletons EKSO BIONICS introduced them as a permanent element of its product project, which is used by leading rehabilitation centres around the world.
